Wade Taranto is an ethical business and as such we have implemented the procedures mandated by the World Diamond Council and United Nations to eliminate trade in diamonds by rebel organisations and countries involved with human suffering.

All of our diamonds are from traceable sources and are conflict free diamonds. Blood diamonds make up less than 1% of the market. And we work directly with suppliers who have eliminated all trade with this market.

We are committed to sourcing the world's most beautiful and ethically-sourced stones; only using those from established suppliers committed to upholding the guidelines of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). To learn more about the Kimberley Process, visit www.kimberleyprocess.com In addition, all of our engagement ring and bespoke diamonds (0.40ct upwards) are fully certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to ensure that they are of the very highest quality.

We go far beyond the industry standard four C's, being cut, colour, clarity and carat. Having to consider a criteria of critical information before we purchase each and every diamond and gemstone, means that our customers are provided with the most superior gemstones available on the market today.

Using gemstones mined in Australia is also important to us. We have a large selection of Australian sapphires, opals and emeralds, most often found and supplied by local independent fossickers, available as loose stones ready for bespoke designs and in our Ready To Wear collection.

We have implemented a sustainable practice, with all pieces being made on site in our own Sydney workshop.

Only the finest gemstones are carefully selected for our jewellery. All of our graded diamonds available start at SI 1 clarity (income cases SI 2), and we ensure 100% eye clean diamonds, meaning no inclusions are visible the human eye.
